Chaotianmen is a
useful base.
It puts the Yangtze, the old city and several of Chongqing's most recognisable sights into the same broad area. The point is not to be everywhere at once, but to have a calm place to return to.

Rooms look across the Yangtze toward Nanshan and the layered edge of Chongqing. Depending on the room and the direction it faces, the frame may include Dongshuimen Bridge, Raffles City, the Yangtze cableway or Huguang Guild Hall.
